An Artisan's Heritage
The Pedroni Tradition continues …………

Craig Pedroni, president of Pedroni's Cast Stone and Precast Solutions, has a family heritage of artisans. His grandfather, Andrew Frank Pedroni, immigrated to the United States in 1910, after receiving his training from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Carrera, Italy, majoring in sculpture and modeling, and doing advanced work in marble and granite stone cutting. In the 1920's, Andrew Frank Pedroni began working as a sculptor in the Jacksonville area and soon after World War II ended, Andrew Frank Pedroni and his sons, Frank and Chris, formed Southern Ornamental Cast Stone Works in Jacksonville, Florida.
Southern Ornamental furnished ornamental precast products for many high-end homes, federal buildings, churches, and state universities throughout Florida and was one of the first precasters to begin experimenting with colored cast stone. Craig's father, Frank Pedroni, was one of the founding members of the Architectural Precast Association (APA) and assisted in developing the industry's Cast Stone Specifications. Craig Pedroni continues the tradition by using the knowledge provided by his family, his own artistic creativity, as well as the innovative techniques that are constantly being developed to provide the best quality cast stone/architectural precast products available on the market today.
Pedroni's Cast Stone was founded in 1984 by Craig Pedroni and is now operated by both Craig and Pat Pedroni (a husband and wife team). Craig has over 30 years experience in this industry and listens to your input to offer expert guidance in the implementation of your job. Pat has over 20 years experience in management/customer service. Craig is currently on the board of director's of the Architectural Precast Association and is a producer member of the Cast Stone Institute. Pedroni's Cast Stone is PLANT CERTIFIED by both of these organizations.
